Every Sēbastien Geslin model is equipped with a temporal branch adjustment — an exclusive innovation that allows a remarkably refined, morphological fit. This discreet mechanism gives you the ability to adjust the opening angle of the temples according to your facial structure, ensuring tailor-made comfort.
By gently turning the screws located at the front, you subtly adjust the spacing of the temples with each rotation.
The adjustment is carried out using a screwdriver specially designed for our frames, included in our cases and also available for purchase online in the Accessories section.
How to adjust your Sébastien Geslin frames

Use the Sēbastien Geslin screwdriver, specially designed for our frames.

Locate the temporal adjustment screws, positioned at the front on either side of the bridge, at the base of the hinges.
- 03.
Gently turn the screws to open or close the temples according to your morphology. Each movement instantly alters the spacing. Repeat the same operation on both sides to ensure perfect symmetry and optimal comfort.

Try on the frame to test the adjustment. Repeat if necessary. For the most precise result, we recommend consulting your optician.

The wood selected for our frames is noble, living, and crafted to endure. Protected by a matte finish applied in our workshop, it retains its natural sheen over time. A light, regular wipe is all it takes to revive its grain without altering its protective surface.
Buffalo horn, used on the temples, requires more specific attention. As a natural, organic material, it may dry slightly over time. Occasional care with apricot kernel oil nourishes the horn, maintaining its suppleness and reviving its natural glow — without affecting its structure or tone.

How to care for your wood and horn frames

Wipe the wooden parts with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dust and impurities. This simple gesture brings out the wood’s natural depth without damaging its protective finish.

Gently dust the horn sections with a dry, soft cloth to eliminate any residue. This action contributes to good penetration of the oil during the following step.

Place a drop of apricot kernel oil on a clean cloth and apply it in circular motions to the horn surfaces only. Work slowly and lightly, avoiding any excess.

Allow the oil to rest briefly, then carefully wipe off the excess with a second dry cloth to preserve a natural feel and a controlled sheen.

Wait a few minutes before handling or wearing the frame. This resting time allows the horn to regain its softness and radiance.

To ensure your Sēbastien Geslin eyewear retains both its visual performance and radiant shine, regular and gentle cleaning is essential.

Our cleaning tips for your optical glasses & sunglasses

Use a clean microfiber cloth, preferably the one supplied with your frames. Avoid any rough fabric or paper that could scratch the surface.

Gently blow on the lenses to remove dust, then wipe them carefully with the microfibre cloth to eliminate superficial marks
- 03.
For heavily marked lenses, use a dedicated cleaning solution. Spray it directly onto the lenses or onto the cloth. Never apply this treatment to frames that are still warm or exposed to sunlight.

Clean the lenses with circular motions, applying no excess pressure. Treat both sides of each lens, taking care to prevent cleaning solution from reaching the wood.

Check under the light to ensure the surface is perfectly clear and free from residue. Repeat if necessary, always with gentleness.
